Daronu has been his father - mighty King. He has aided the tribe like none has done before; he bore the antlers that only the eldest have ever seen alive, and he was white as snow: he has given the tribe hope, prosperity, protection and led us all into a new age. They named him Hunnorus and he is one of the Kings now.
Daronu has been his father, and he is Duktanu: the first born, with the same mighty antlers adorning his head, even if his face was not the most attractive, and his mission was to bear the Hunnorus name, and lead his own tribe into prosperity.
But he was not his father.
And he knew it the moment he laid eyes on her: white as snow, eyes gleaming red like the gems worn by the Queens, fangs extending beyond her lips, and atop her head buds of marble white antlers branching in three. Now he knew: It was never Duktanu's task to be his father, his task was to protect the reincarnation of the King.
They named her Darina.
And she was true, even if neither of her parents bore the name of Hunnorus - or at least not of what he knew. He later found out that Darina's sire was a child of Daronu's: after the Queen died, females swarmed him so he could father their children - and some he did, among these twins, one of which came to to the islands with them. What a twist of fate this has been: the Royal family with it's names and titles didn't prove worthy of carrying the Hunnorus name. - Or maybe the world is more complex than any of them could understand.
Regardless, now he knew who he was: and he thought he has found enlightenment.
Darina was to be their new Queen. And he hoped those named Hunnorus will guide her in her journey.

(Or in none-lore terms: the Hunnorus is the name I have attributed to the nichelings i wanted to breed to exhibit the prehistoric genes, and they were the main breeders - so I put off Darina's birth because neither of her parents had the prehistoric genes in their exhibited traits, and they were both very young, however when she was indeed born she was a shock to me: an albino, meglaocerus horns and poisonous fangs (something that hasn't been around since Adam and Eve -and it has been roughly 5 hours of gameplay since) appeared. And Daronu was the very very first nicheling born with Megalocerus Horns and was an albino. )
